For my ESMOD thesis, I am creating a Gentle Monster x Audi collaboration timed with Audi’s Formula 1 debut. The collection, inspired by performance, features carbon fiber materials. The sunglasses are display to mirror Gonzalo Lebrija’s “Between Death and Life” artwork, reflecting the high-stakes nature of Formula 1. The blue setting symbolizes the “Sky”, a feeling familiar from my own skydiving experiences.
